Raw material: Q195 low carbon steel rod
Production process: wire rod → wire drawing → annealing → rust removal → pickling → galvanizing → plastic coating → coil wire.
Features: Galvanized iron wire has good toughness and elasticity, the highest zinc content can reach 300 grams/square meter. It has the characteristics of thick galvanized layer and strong corrosion resistance.
According to the different galvanizing process, galvanized wire is divided into hot galvanized wire and cold galvanized wire.
Hot-dip galvanized wire is dipped in the heated melting zinc solution, the production speed is fast, the coating is thick but not uniform, the minimum thickness of 45 microns, up to 300 microns or more. The color is dark, the consumption of zinc metal is more, the infiltration layer can be formed with the base metal, the corrosion resistance is good, and the hot dip galvanizing can be maintained for decades in the outdoor environment.
Cold galvanized wire, also known as electrogalvanized wire, is in the plating tank through the current unidirectional zinc gradually plated on the metal surface, the production speed is slow, the coating is uniform, the thickness is thin, usually only 3-15 microns, the appearance is bright, corrosion resistance is not as good as hot galvanized wire.
The difference between cold galvanizing and hot galvanizing: the difference between cold galvanizing and hot galvanizing is that the amount of zinc is different, and they can be identified from the color, and the color of cold galvanizing is shiny, silver and slightly yellow. Hot dip galvanizing shiny white.
